Usage

From the organization page, organization administrators can generate reports for their use of cloud resources. The report defaults to the latest calendar month, but can be changed using the date pickers.

Note

As RiskScape is used internationally, we record usage with respect to Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). Date ranges for usage reports are therefore also in UTC.

The two major types of cloud resource that the RiskScape platform uses are storage and engine time. Storage is tracked for:

• Uploaded files (to project or personal storage)

• Model outputs

• Microsites

Storage is recorded in units of MB/minute, although the usage report rounds up to GB/Hour. Files being larger, or stored longer on the RiskScape platform, will increase the recorded usage.

Engine time is reported in engine minutes - running an engine for one minute is an engine minute. Usage time for different sizes of engine are reported separately. For example, a report might show 20 “Engine Minutes (Small)” and 30 “Engine Minutes (Large)”.

In the details column for engine minute lines is an estimate of the number of successful and failed model runs during the reported period. Note that this number includes any model that was running during that period and excludes anything that has been deleted. This restriction does not apply to the quantity of engine minutes, just the counts.
